Yesterday (Saturday 14th April) we went to search for wild Orchids at Buskett Malta and we found Bug Scented Orchid, Small Flowered Tongu Orchid, and Common Pyramidal Orchid.
Today (Sunday 15th April 2007), we went at Ghar Lapsi Malta and we found 13 Common Pyramidal Orchids and 9 Maltese Pyramidal Orchids.
My students are very enthusiastic to send you their photos to include them in this blog. Thanks.

The orchids still not bloom here in Denmark, but as soon as they do, we will make a our first trip (maybe on the small island "Romsø", you can see on the video-clip we attached the progress card). Hopefully within 14 days.

It is evident that you are working really hard. We appreciate all your work. Your photos are magnificent. I noticed that you managed to photograph some very rare orchids. Very well done. The first field trip here in Denmark will be 2th of may.
As I told you before, orchids in Denmark are more difficult to find in the nature, but hopefully we can take some good photos and ad the blog.

Dear Students,
Well done for the good work and the good photos you are taking. Last Sunday we went for a fieldtrip at a particular place in Malta calle "Is-Salib ta' L-Gholja". In Maltese "salib" is a cross, and "gholja" is a hill. This place is called after a cross that there is on top of a hill. Here we found hundreds of common pyramidal orchids, Maltese Pyramidal Orchids, some Scented Bug Orchids and only one Small Flowered Tongue Orchid. We enjoyed our field trip. Some parents joined us as well and got excited as much as us in looking for wild Orchids. I will send you some photos.
